What Role Do Emotions Play In Learning?

The emotions children deal with on a daily basis can be tumultuous and stressful. Emotional stress when coupled with learning difficulties can be overwhelming and debilitating to any child. Michelle reaches students on a fundamental, emotional level to uncover underlying beliefs and/or thought patterns that diminish productivity. She then helps students create new, positive and self-supporting belief systems to promote efficient and successful learning.

Michelle is not a licensed psychotherapist and does not diagnose, treat or support emotional disorders or psychological issues. However, Michelle does help the child find their own inner voice to discover what belief systems they have that can prevent success in school and in life. She also works with children to understand the impact of certain emotions on various aspects of their learning processes and how to navigate through them.
